COMPACT UWB ANTENNAS

Broadband Dipole Antenna

The UWB ultra-wideband dipole antenna is a rugged, vertically polarized wideband dipole designed for stationary applications across a broad frequency spectrum.
Its wideband performance makes it ideal for a range of scenarios, including tactical communications, UHF surveillance, 2-way radio, and electronic countermeasure (ECM) or jamming operations
The antenna is also optimized for broadband signal transmission and reception, making it suitable for signal coverage, radio frequency testing, and other wideband RF applications.
Designed to deliver consistent performance, the antenna offers a relatively uniform radiation pattern over its operating range, ensuring reliable omnidirectional coverage in the vertical plane. Its compact and durable construction allows for deployment in challenging and demanding environments.

Key features:
  • Frequency range: 530 MHz – 4.3 GHz
  • Impedance: 50 ohm
  • VSWR (typical): < 2
  • Gain: 3.5 dBi (frequency dependent)
  • Polarization: Vertical
  • Connector type: SMA (female)
This antenna is well-suited for both civilian and military applications requiring reliable ultra-wideband performance, mechanical robustness, and flexibility in RF system integration.

Double Ridge Horn

Bandwidth: 1–9 GHz
VSWR: < 3
Dimensions: 30% smaller than the commercial DRH18E antenna
The low VSWR in both free-space conditions and in the presence of biological material indicates good robustness to impedance variations. This reflects the effective matching performance of the Double Ridged Horn antenna, making it suitable for use as a diagnostic tool for breast cancer.
